TAMPA, Fla. - USL Academy announced today the 2025 USL Academy League Finals All-Tournament Team with 15 players tapped as the top performers from the four-day event at IMG Academy.
Back-to-back finalists Indy Eleven had four players named to the All-Tournament Team, including Golden Ball and Golden Glove winner Ryan Hunsucker, who’s on an Academy Contract with the USL Championship club. Jake Alb, Grant Paskus, and Adan Robles join Hunsucker in the team, highlighting Indy’s impressive defensive play throughout the tournament.
2025 USL Academy Finals champions, AC Connecticut saw three of its players named to the team. Nickolas Santana, Preston Alessio, and Johan Bermudez were key pieces of AC Connecticut’s offense which came up big in critical moments to deliver the club its first Academy Finals title.
Utah Red Wolves SC had a tournament to remember, fighting its way to be a penalty shootout away from the final. Beckham Brown and Ashton Wheeler helped anchor Utah’s defense, making them one of the toughest teams to score on. Goalkeeper Kai Spencer, who received an honorable mention, was phenomenal for the Red Wolves who wound up in three penalty shootouts.
Multiple Lexington SC players impressed throughout the tournament as the Boys in Green claimed third place at the tournament. Luca Sowinski’s four goals earned him the Charly Golden Boot and Jose Flores was named the Young Player of the Tournament. Felipe Valencia and Kingston Marshall from Lexington SC were honorable mentions for their dynamic play.
Orange County SC II’s Cheick Kone had two goals in key moments for the County Boys, earning an honorable mention.
