BRADENTON, Fla. - The second day of the 2025 USL Academy Finals brought back-and-fourth matchups and some top celebrations as four teams booked their spot in Saturday's Semifinal.

Indy Eleven 3, Richmond Kickers 0

In a clash of pro clubs who've fielded some of the strongest Academy teams in the USL, Indy Eleven was able to control the attacking play in the match. Goals from Adan Robles, Edin Cvorovic, and Franklin Pavon Caceres helped the Indiana club secure its second consecutive 3-0 victory.

Orange County SC 1, Utah Red Wolves SC 1 - Utah Red Wolves wins 4-2 on penalties

Utah Red Wolves SC was able to grab the early lead thanks to Noah Heil, but Cheick Kone's late equalizer sent the game into extra time and eventually a penalty shootout. Utah's Kai Spencer saved one kick and Tyler Jordan slotted home the winning kick to send the Red Wolves to the Semifinal.

Sporting JAX 2, AC Connecticut 3

Sporting JAX came out of the gate flying, taking a quick two-goal lead in the first half thanks to Ethan Underwood and Daniel Moreno. AC Connecticut wasted no time getting back in the game, firing home two quick goals from Nick Santana. Late in the second half, Mikey Asare pounced on a rebound in the box to deliver the win for AC Connecticut. 

Lexington SC 5, City SC San Diego 2

Lexington SC and City SC provided a hard-fought match, but it was the Kentucky team that rolled its way into the next round with a 5-2 win. A brace by Kelly Takara was overpowered by goals from Felipe Valencia, Vasyl Soloschuk, Joshua Barnett, and a brace from Luca Sowinski.
