TAMPA, Fla. – The 16-team bracket for the 2023 USL Academy League Playoffs was revealed on Monday afternoon ahead of Thursday’s opening round of contests at the Tournament SportsPlex of Tampa Bay, with a Copa Tejas clash between San Antonio FC and El Paso Locomotive FC a highlight in the opening set of games.

Both former winners of the Copa Tejas, San Antonio and El Paso will meet at 4 p.m. ET in the final round of games on Thursday with state bragging rights – and a place in the Quarterfinals on Friday – at stake.

Defending Academy Playoffs title holder Tampa Bay United will face AHFC Royals in the Round of 16, while 2021 champion Indy Eleven will open action at 10 a.m. ET as it faces FC Copa Academy.
