Joshua Wynder is an emerging young star in American soccer.
A graduate of the Louisville City FC Academy, the 17-year-old professional has already represented and captained the United States U-19 Men’s National Team and has become a central part in the back line for one of the USL Championship’s perennial title contenders.
The Louisville, Ky. native is also representative of the young talent now being nurtured in the academy systems of clubs across the USL eco-system. Wynder could soon join the players that have made the move to Europe directly from the USL Championship in recent months, including United States YNT teammate Kobi Henry, who this month made the move to Ligue 1 club Stade de Reims, or former LouCity teammate Jonathan Gomez, now at La Liga’s Real Sociedad.
Get an inside look at Wynder’s rise to the pro ranks and learn what makes his future so bright.
